That's a very encouraging breakdown.

Just looked and we only have the Swansea fixture out of the 9 left that is played on a Saturday....

May 6th is a Sunday, we don't have any saturday games left this season. All Sunday's/Monday's and I think Wednesday once.

Fantastic for me on the no Saturday fixtures as my son's football games are on Saturday mornings. Really looking forward to the next couple months - except a week between each game is going to be quite torturous.

Fulham is a team that has given us quite a few tough games over the last few years, but most of those have been away from Old Trafford, at home we've won 7 straight against them. Here are the last 10 years worth of results:

2001-2
......United 3-2 Fulham
......Fulham 2-3 United
02-3
......Fulham 1-1 United
......United 3-0 Fulham
03-4
......United 1-3 Fulham
......Fulham 1-1 United
04-5
......Fulham 1-1 United
......United 1-0 Fulham
05-6
......Fulham 2-3 United
......United 4-2 Fulham
06-7
......United 5-1 Fulham
......Fulham 1-2 United
07-8
......United 2-0 Fulham
......Fulham 0-3 United
08-9
......United 3-0 Fulham
......[FAC] Fulham 0-4 United
......Fulham 2-0 United
09-10
......Fulham 0-3 United
......United 3-0 Fulham
10-11
......Fulham 2-2 United
......United 2-0 Fulham
11-12
......Fulham 0-5 United

Fulham could be tricky if they go on the attack against us, something which has caused us problems before.

Nice, 10 home games: 9-0-1, and a goal difference of +19. That'll do. And if we call 06/07 the start of a new era, we have 5-0-0 and 15-1.

I wonder why people will say things for example like City will definitely beat Fulham at home without sweat but when it comes to United, doubt will start to creep in claiming it will be a difficult game. We are playing great in the league, we smell blood, we'll dismantle Fulham, the same Fulham who got beat 0-3 at home by Swansea

Spot on. Theres some people who try to make it seem like Chelsea at home is a guaranteed 3 points for City, while at the same time seeing Blackburn away as a "banana skin where we could easily drop points" and that Fulham very well could cause us troubles. Newsflash, we are the league leaders! Why should we struggle with Fulham and Blackburn while second place City destroy an in form Chelsea side?

Ill be disappointed if we lose points in any of the matches before the derby. We will demolish Fulham.

The respective home and away record of the two clubs. When teams go to the Etihad, I couldn't feel much surer of a home win, except for when the big sides roll on, but even they get beaten. No way would City lose at home to a weakened Blackburn side. Their weakness lies away from home.

For the record I expect Chelsea to be a tough game, and assuming they're without Kompany, Chelsea have every chance of getting something. Also, I don't think Fulham at home is a difficult game at all, and fully expect us to win, but we'v had too many shock results to say it's a guaranteed win.

That was a big win to be honest. We should still be confident though.

Their still way under the points total they should have given the money they have spent

We'll have it won by the derby!

Guard of honour is going to be mint

City need to drop a few points during their run-in. United should try to do something about that goal difference. The inferior gd bothers me.

Why? We have to lose a game when they win, which is already a six goal swing in their favour. Are we then going to match them point for point for the remaining eight games, and make up six goals? I think not.

They have Arsenal, Stoke, Norwich and Newcastle away, that's some difficult games especialy with the away form city have.

Yeah, so they, if anything, will drop so many points that we'll win the league without the need for goal difference. For me the only purpose goal difference serves is to show them that even that's been taken away from them - a small mental factor, that's all I see it as.

Yep. Might be wrong and I hate to come across as over confident but I see them dropping more points than us.

If they do win from here they deserve some credit.

You're right, it may look like goal difference won't be a factor in this season, it's more it a mental factor like you said.

If we win all our games up to the derby and they draw one then we get there 3 ahead, lose that and GD makes it a very agonising last couple of games.

It is quite a feasible scenario. We have more home games left, we should try to claw back GD.

Meh, for every Upton Park '95, there's a JJB '08 to balance it out.

I don't think it's going all the way down the wire though.

smalltime club that produced one great team...now they are just a vehicle for an oil sheik...

Really?

I wouldn't say that just yet, they won an FA Cup, were 'arry's Pompey a great team?
