Gaming The Legend of Zelda | Earthquake: "It's actually ridiculously good, and keeps getting better." ★★★★★

I am currently ( in the game) sat on a mountain outcrop with a fire awaiting the moon to be just right and align perfectly with a tower so I can fire an arrow at it. The fact that I am willing to do this shows how this game is a masterpiece.
Let me know if that works, if it's the one I'm thinking of I couldn't figure it out.

No moon on this night so I'm off to do the yiga clan will be back again later.

I only just realized that you get a Korok seed if you place an apple in front of those apple statues. My reaction to them was always 'yay, free apples'. D'oh.

How did you figure it out if you had been taking the apples every time?
I just happened to stand in front of two of them, one had an apple in front of it the other one was empty. Then I stared at them for a while and went:

Hoping for some advice from you guys.

I'm on the Divine Beast Van Naboris and have just got to the main controls after activities all terminals and have come up against the Thunderblight Ganon.

Am I massively underequipped for this - I have 4 hearts and am getting my arse handed to me! Seen a walk through and the player has about 10 hearts. Another already had the master sword so I figure I'm fecked trying otherwise.

Should I not be doing the divine beasts yet? Other than reaching Zora's domain - the freeing of the divine beasts was the nest main quest objective.

No idea what I should be doing first. I have 7 spirit orbs which I might be able to get extra hearts if I get another one.

Can I leave vah naboris and come back to it when better equipped - Any help would be appreciated.

Every 4 orbs get you a heart vessel/more stamina whichever you choose, do you know how to turn orbs into heart vessels?

Yeah I think i did it before at a shrine at kakariko village to get a fourth.

I just wondered if I should be trying other objectives and levelling up a bit before trying the diving beasts..

I think enemies scale to your hearts so its definitely possible to manage whatever your level.
I'd say spam lightning / bomb / fire arrows but im guessing your a low enough level that you wont have much.
Do a couple of shrines, get another heart, maybe go for one that gives decent armor or can be upgraded easily. Or spend some gold on armor.
Sneak up on a fairy shrine and grab some fairy's for a revive or 3 (theres one close to first village)

I’d definitely get a few more hearts, I also went and got a certain something that makes it way easier in the boss fights but I don’t wanna spoil it.

Cheers guys. Maybe I'll do a bit more exploring and such first.

Better armour would def help. I just spent 500 rupees to dress as a woman to sneak into Garudo!

I just worried that I had dropped a clanger and was doing part of the quest I shouldn't be just yet.

Is Vah Neboris the Desert one?
Because that one was the hardest from memory, by a good distance.

It's definitely possible to beat those bosses with minimal hearts, none are particularily difficult to avoid a hit once you get the hang of it.

But if you are struggling, there's always cooking. Technically you never really have to level up at all if you carry the right food/potions. Also, arrows are your friend ;)

I’m too scared to play xenoblade before bed on a school night because I know I’ll still be up at 3am. Ffs.

I've been playing this all day, what a game! I love the puzzles in the temples. I just finished the pinball one, the end part of that was frustrating but managed to get it done.

Defeated Thunderblight Ganon at Divine Beast Vah Neboris last night. What a fecking nightmare he was.

was struggling like mad on this last night and had to give up for a bit.

A load of posters saying that the bosses level up with your charater but I feel massively unequipped with only 4 hearts. doesn' help that I'm carrying nothing that can replace my life either.

People I spoke to just said that he was the hardest of the Blight bosses as his pattern involved being up close and the slightest mistep in timing would kill you. We had 10 hearts and he'd waste us with about 2 hits and we had lots of armour on. I need a few more hearts then I'm going after the master sword.

Might be worth a google, but I didn't think bosses leveled up with hearts or that. I thought normal enemies change difficulty when you reach certain milestones after the respawn during blood moons.

In any case, try cooking or elixirs if you are struggling for shrines (though tbf they are everywhere). You can get a ridiculous amount of extra hearts, or really good armour buffs from a little experimentation.

Yeah with only 4 hearts you are really going to struggle. My advice would be stock up on bomb arrows(He can be hit with arrows when he's throwing the balls of electricity and when you've knocked him down)and find food that can be cooked into temporary hearts(Yellow Hearts).

I've hardly leveled up my hearts at all. I maxed out stamina and got about 2 more hearts after that. I've also got two from beating divine beasts. Cooking 5 Hearty Durians gives you 20 temporary hearts so never really worried about HP.

Thunderblight Ganon is a nightmare though. I've not really done too much close combat and my dodge timing is terrible. I don't really want to grind him down with arrows either.

Man, just got my Switch tonight and played like 4 hours of this non stop. Couldn’t believe that time had gone so fast! Spent a good while just messing around cooking things I found and experimenting too. I think this game is going to devour my life

Oh, it'll do that...

"Let me just check how much I've played, I must have a good 40 hours up by now...... A hundred and what?!"

Vah Rudania, about to sort out Fire Blight Ganon.

Fire Blight Ganon was defeated and now the Master Sword is in my possession.

All the divine beasts freed. Going to try and 100% the game before we take on Ganon.
