Yup, spot on. Especially wide players as central ones are easier to find and there are multiple options. Brehme would give me the same flexibility Nedved would, but Djalma could also play as a RCB in 5-3-2 and really underrated going forward. That and of course born in the 20's made him difficult to pass.

The major issue is the decades for me, don't really have many clashes with Batigol and Zico and have 1 WC and 2 CL positions to spare.

Basically that he needs protection from the whole unit and won't work well in a higher line without a defensive setup, which IMO is absolute bollocks. He's the best modern defender since Nesta and Rio - well agree with @Šjor Bepo on that.

To be fair, they are not totally misplaced comments. Unless he plays in a team which is not so much dependent on the organization of the entire team, we'll probably never know.

I don't mind picking him at all, but would probably not play him in a uber attacking team as he simply hasn't played in one ever.
