I specifically put that one in there to throw it off. Olly is correct on numbers 1, 6, and 9. Wrong on 12.

No series appears twice in this list.

Seems like the one I thought would go first hasn't been guessed yet.
 
I have to admit to getting that one purely by chance, i was searching for OC remix piano to try and find number 16 and stumbled on it. I doubt i ever would have got it otherwise.
 
Jesus.. Don't suppose any of them are Zany Juice Vests are they? Otherwise I'm stumped.
 
Number 2 i keep wanting to say Final Fantasy X but you said only one from each series so that's out. 4 and 17 seem familiar, 10 i've no idea but it sounds really good. The other's i'm completely lost. Somebody help me out here, where's Olly got to?

2 is not Final Fantasy. It's actually pretty different from the source so I expected this one to be one of the last ones guessed.

4 is a platformer like 17.

10 might be more familiar than you think. If you think of most video game tunes as having two parts, part A being the main recognizable part and part B being a change up to loop back to part A, the clip I put for #10 is part B (though I guess it starts with the end of part A) of the song. Don't know how much that helps.
 
18 sounds like it could be the ending tune to a Mario game but I can't think of any that it could be from, and 15 sounds like a Kirby game.

Probably way out with both though :(

You're close on 18. It's definitely from the Mario family, though I may have a different perception on how familiar everyone is with the song. I've heard it a bunch of times in later games but the source game is actually relatively recent for a theme that I personally associate with a specific character.

15 is definitely not a Kirby game. It is actually very similar to the source tune with just a few instrument changes, so treat it as if it were just a regular song ID question.
