The Game

say that I'm foolish I only talk about jewels
Do you fools listen to music or do you just skim through it?
See I'm influenced by the ghetto you ruined
That same dude you gave nothin, I made somethin doin
what I do through and through and
I give you the news - with a twist it's just his ghetto point-of-view
The renegade; you been afraid
I penetrate pop culture, bring 'em a lot closer to the block where they
pop toasters, and they live with they moms
Got dropped roasters, from botched robberies niggaz crotched over
Mommy's knocked up cause she wasn't watched over
Knocked down by some clown when child support knocked
No he's not around - now how that sound to ya, jot it down
I bring it through the ghetto without ridin 'round
hidin down duckin strays from frustrated youths stuck in they ways
Just read a magazine that fecked up my day
How you rate music that thugs with nothin relate to it?
I help them see they way through it - not you
Can't step in my pants, can't walk in my shoes
Bet everything you worth; you lose your tie and your shirt

Thats jay Z from Renegade.

From my mate:

Pap - His label situation is still an issue, although he is signed for $1.5 mill for Jive Records, but his album is scheduled to be released for February 2007, now his situation for the album is a lot like Games really, hes got some fantastic production lined up for it, the artists to name a few are Swizz Beatz, and DJ Premier will be producing part of the album. Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kay Slay, have also been confirmed. Nas will most likely feature on a track, so will Talib Kweli. Theres tons of other producers working on it and no doubt that will be fire, as long as he is on point it will be amazing. I love Pap's voice but I think his flow and style could change, hes at his best when he is going raw but those days are gone, I also like him when hes on the mellow track, his words seem to have a harder impact.

Game - The reason I said about 187 was in principal it showed Eazy-E could make an album without Dre, and thats what Game has repeatedly said he wants to do. I guess we disagree about the diss tracks but thats understandable, and vaseline was a classic.

Does he say anything interesting on it?

Public Service Announcement - Yes, if your going to listen to Jigga, check that track, the black album was fairly rubbish but that one song is brilliant. Everything on that song is excellent.

Overall I can skip all of Jay-Z's stuff apart from Reasonable Doubt - The album is one of the best ever, his lyrics are perfect because he sounds so raw on it. Thats what I don't like about rappers, once they make it they loose that rawness they started out with, the two exceptions are Nas who carried it on through most of his albums except for Street Disciple which was shit, and Mobb Deep who apart from their current stuff still have that sickness about them. Mobb Deep are also one of my favourite artists ever, 'Juvenile Hell' and the 'Free Agents Mixtape' are great.

I enjoyed the Black Album, actually...well, truth be told it was the Grey Album (the Black Album-Beatles White Album Remix) and I probably enjoyed the beats more than anything. "Change Clothes/Piggies" is a fairly interesting tune..."99 Problems/Helter Skelter" was better than the original Jay-Z version as well.

Surprised there's been no mention of Chuck D, surely one of the all time greats when it comes to delivering a bomb lyrical track.

nas is better than jay z. especially in storytelling and artistry in actually having relevant things to say, not rapping about big pimpin or liquor.

If The Game reads this he'd probably write a song about "popping a cap in my ass" or summat.

The daft cnut
He wouldn't give a shit about some ignorant Scouser. He's a mult-millionaire and you spend your days posting on a rival fan board because he delivers a good message.

Ah, your right, the guy moves to much but I got a still and it is g-unot. Still hes a bit weird, the comments are funny though.

Rap is shit. Some beats are good mind.

But it's prodominantly for gayers, wiggers and curry-wannabe gangsters.

and The Game's still a big gay twat, with a tear tattoo that means he's a peado.

No matter how good/shit his "lyrical flow" is..

For those who wanted to know:

Dre has been producing for game as well, on snoops album with game features they are dre beats, on Nas' new album the song ) 'QB Tru Gs' f/The Game is produced by Dre too. Cant wait for Nas' album personally, heard about 4 of his new songs and each of them are amazing.
