At any rate he certainly needs the initial for a possible formation pic/starting XI.

Well, if people feel strongly about it, they need to lay 40m on the table. Won't do to just protect him, as the whole comedy will repeat itself at a later stage. *

* Unless it turns out that this is the last chance to land him (which I doubt).

its a great round choice IMO.

If @Cal? gets his favorite, he will have probably the strongest team in the draft so its in everyone's interest to prevent that. But to do so people have to sacrifice their individual cards which may not be an optimal use of a power card. Its also interesting because at least one other manager has a famous favorite of his available as well. This should be an interesting round.

There is another way to stop him and not waste 40 millions though (not talking about protection)
