Pippa already picked, Cutch is up now.

Edgar Allan Pillow : 1. Matthias Sammer
Cutch: 1. Kaka
Thisistheone 1. Cafu 2. Makélélé
Pippa: 1. Vieira 2. RVN
antohan: 1. Thuram 2. Muller
Gio 1. Kohler 2. Hagi
Polaroid 1. Busquets 2. Cannavaro
VivaJanuzaj 1. A.Cole 2. Effenberg

@Cutch

I might end up regretting not taking him over Effenberg, as Theon said he could've been great with my defensive line, but went with my guts.

Funnily enough we had our eye on Effenburg.

But happy to get Makelele. The old Zidane quote always springs to mind:

Upon Claude Makelele's departure to Chelsea and David Beckham's subsequent arrival in 2003, Zinedine Zidane quipped,"Why put another layer of gold paint on the Bentley when you are losing the entire engine?"

You don't have the offensive quartet to play counter-attacking football like Mourinho used that back five for. That discussion also never ends. If you had picked up Makelele people would have been doubting him with an AM instead of Lampard who provided more defensive cover etc etc. It is all a good discussion though, but you shouldn't worry about it.

Come on lads, you could've chosen Amoros for us! Delighted to get him. Absolutely quality fullback and for me a step above Ashley Cole. In my mind he's similar to Zanetti in being able to play either side to a very high standard. He's not in the same class as Zanetti (or Cafú or Thuram) of course but his ease at playing either side is a step above someone like Lahm and I think he slots into this side beautifully. I may just make a short video of him in '86 to give some of you lot a bit more of an idea of what he's like because for me he was a key part of one of the most beautiful attacking football sides I've ever seen and I get the impression he's not all that well known among some. Love that French team and he was pure class in it.

@Brwned Did you just say Amoros is a level above Lahm?
That's nonsense... And I don't think comparing him with Cashley is the right way to go, really different types of full backs.

Edgar Allan Pillow : 1. Matthias Sammer 2. Amoros
Cutch: 1. Kaka 2. Hierro
Thisistheone 1. Cafu 2. Makélélé
Pippa: 1. Vieira 2. RVN
antohan: 1. Thuram 2. Muller
Gio 1. Kohler 2. Hagi
Polaroid 1. Busquets 2. Cannavaro
VivaJanuzaj 1. A.Cole 2. Effenberg

The random list generator has spoken!

In his ability to play either side. It followed directly on from what Gio said about him being able to play on the left. I don't think there was much of a step down for him when he played on the opposite side.

Amoros is a very well rounded fullback so I think he's comparable to Cole.

Maldini being moved in centrally? Also I rate Amoros higher than A.Cole. Can't see a reason why anybody would pick Cole bar the fact that he is more famous or to team him up with the Chelsea defense.

Welcome to the quarter finals draw of the First Redcafe Sheep Draft.

First up, two managers who made their draft debut. Which rookie will make the next step and book a place in the semis? I see the banter has already begun...

Ohh That will be interesting...

Next from the bowl are two teams with two exceptional trequartistas. Will Totti take the revenge of Kaka robbing him off the Ballon D'or? We will find out soon.

Cutch vs Thisistheone

This one has the potential to bring back the good old days of drafts and remind these kids how things were in the 1800s. I bet these two would love going against each other one more time. The Grudge Match.

antohan vs Gio

Oh, so that's what you were arguing about

Modric-Effenberg is fine, except if you play me obviously ;)

Tomorrow is fine by me.

And now to the big question, should I go for possession against EAP & Brwned's diamond with Modric? or power and discipline with Ince?

4-6-0 with Laudrup as a false-9 like at times in the start of the dream-team.

Nedved----Laudrup----Sanchez
-Modric------Ince-----Effenberg

I won't be able to contribute before 9pm on Thursday. I don't know if Anto would be interested in a later kick off or Friday morning start.
