The First Redcafe NBA Draft

On EST guys. Slept through all of this. Will pick in a bit sorry

How will you play that KO tournament at the end? I mean, what will you look in players picked? And also, even if Jordan would've been allowed, would you look only at his 95/96 and onward career or as a whole?

stupid question time is it peak or longevity? I have a guy who was BRILLIANT for 2-3 years or a guy who was very good for infinity.

Tim Duncan.

This is cool. With only 8 participants the teams are going to be stacked as feck.
If anyone wants an assistant I'd be up for it although my basketball knowledge isn't brilliant.

Nice pick.
my most admried player. Shaq is my FAVORITE (and I would have taken him 1 too) but if you had to build a franchise around him, Duncan has proven himself to be the best at that of all time. If the draft was build a franchise (I know it isn't) Duncan is #1

Great Pick.

1. Skizzo - Shaq
2. Revan - Kobe Bryant
3. Skills - LeBron James
4. NM - Tim Duncan
5. RDCR -
6. Mani -
7. Eboue -
8. MJJ -

@RDCR07 and @adexkola ...

Shaq is everyone's favorite.

How can anybody not like him. I still see Shaq dunks, glass breakers sometimes
In fact shaq was one of the main reason i started following BB,starting with his Orlando days.

@Eboue .....

Think we should end this right now. I won it with that Lebron pick.

Chef Curry is ridiculous. Easily GOAT a couple of years down the line.
Easily the best player in NBA. But for GOAT, he needs to play on this level (or probably even better) for a few years to be considered near the same level as Jordan.

I actually never bought the LeBron hype.

What hype? He's a 4 type MVP heading to his 6th straight NBA finals this season.

The GOAT talk.

He's very good and probably the most physically gifted athlete I've ever seen, but I don't think that he was anywhere near as talented as the likes of Jordan, Kobe or even Curry.

What does that even mean? Can Jordan, Curry, Kobe defend 1-4 like Lebron could? Taking Jordan out of the equation, the other two aren't as physically imposing, Kobe can't pass or assist like him and neither of them rebound as well as him.

They're more gifted shooters, but he still outscores them. Shooting =/= talent.

He doesn't outscore Jordan or Kobe for God's sake.

I said taking Jordan out of the equation.

He does outscore Kobe. 27 odd career average > 25 odd. He's chasing down all of Kobe's scoring records (in terms of age and in terms of games too).
