The first Cricket sheep thread

Narendra Hirwani had a impressive debut against W.indies in late 80's.
Just checking the score card and he had 16 Wkts for the match.W.indies were clueless on how to tackle him.
But in 1992 B&H series the tore him apart.
Per reports, that 16 wickets pitch was under-prepared.

Done feck all since then. In fact he and Chetan Sharma were among the three players I thought would be excellent sheep candidates.

Was not a thinking bowler,he just need to bow fast and was all over the place.

Was it? those days we didn't have much information on those things only the final result mattered. Also people trying to imitate his action for their leg break:lol:
IMO he's definitely a sheep material, one match wonder or so.

You got Mcgrath. Top pick.
Wait till you see who I chose as my WK, you'll be using a different phrase then. I hope someone was stupid enough as me to pick the same person. Tonnes of top notch keepers out there and I might have inevitably chosen a Baby Sheep.

I am thinking otherwise. There are so few safe picks.
Absolute Legends ? Yes, maybe a touch limited. But if you look at Keepers who are more than capable behind the stumps and make a significant contribution with their batting (and occasional bowling), I think there are quite a few choices available.

Mani 1. Holding
Akshay 1. Ambrose
Ijazz17 1. McGrath
MJJ 1. Waqar Younis
PaulScholes18 1. Botham
RedTiger 1. Narendra Hirwani(Sheep)
Skills 1. Steyn
Crappy 1. Ajantha Mendis(Sheep)
NM 1. Donald
VanGaalEra 1. Shane Shillingford(Sheep)
Boycott 1. Chetan Sharma(Sheep)
Kazi 1. Bond
Aldo 1. Andy Roberts
Harshad 1. Marshall
Prath 1. Harbhajan
Skizzo 1. Mushtaq Ahmed
Bloody hell @MJJ ! I thought my little ruse would put you off waqar!

How many players have submitted choices for round 2 till now?

I actually considered going for one of Andy Roberts / Michael Holding as I was not sure Marshall would go through. Glad I stuck with Marshall though.
We came close to picking Marshall, easly the best pick of the round followed by Holding, McGrath, Ambrose and Waqar.
