We came close to picking Marshall, easly the best pick of the round followed by Holding, McGrath, Ambrose and Waqar.

Englishman here
You're lying mate! No way you ignored Botham for Ntini
Two Englishman ignored Botham and blocked each other on Ntini

At least an Englishman picked himTwo Englishman ignored Botham and blocked each other on Ntini
Botham over anyone on the 1st pick match winner with bat and ball

Waqar had the higher peaks imo, but Donald was overall more consistent in his career.Waqar has a better strike rate in tests with almost the same average, more five/four wicket hauls as well.

That's why I avoided him. Figured he'd be a sure pick for a few people. Thought too much about it and ended up with a third pick. Ah well
Ntini > Pollock
Yeah, McGrath was a metronome but I like having a spearhead that intimidates batsmen more. Still, McGrath with the right support could be devastating.Donald did it everywhere. Waqar was much more of a bully in Pak IMO.
For me Marshall and Ambrose stand above all picked there. Botham was the only allrounder that got through, fair play.
McGrath should be with Marshall/Ambrose but I like my bowlers quick. He was just insanely accurate
Not really the same type of player though so a little unfair to compare them.
I think...
Ditto.
Now I realise that stacking your team with all rounders is the way to go.
Btw Ntini > Pollock
Go on then, post it.I've been thinking and so far, all I've done is made my bio for my first pick. It's only five words.
Yep. Not even close, and I love effort bowlers like Ntini.Pollock was definitely better bowler than Ntini. Ntini's success was down to big heart effort and perseverance. Pollock was more skillful bowler. Ntini also benefited while bowling along side Pollock who was miserly so batsmen used to take more risk vs Ntini.
It would come to personal preference I would say.Donald did it everywhere. Waqar was much more of a bully in Pak IMO.

When is the deadline?
12 would be plenty, I think.24hrs is too much.
Don't mind, I'm online for a while. This might take time since my internet at office isn't working. I can send the excel sheet if someone wants to post the results.
Absolutely12 would be plenty, I think.
