The first Cricket sheep thread

Not much. It's a traditional subcontinent wicket man. As the OP says, stadiums are indicative of the condition, nothing more. So karachi is a subcontinent wicket. Just like Eden or premadasa. Lords = scg = Wellington for example.
So am I right in assuming that the pitch will be batsman friendly, with cracks starting to develop from Day 3 or Day 4 onwards, aiding the spinners and perhaps some uneven bounce ? No swing, or no real noticeable seam ?

It's the stadium where Pathan took his hattrick. Imo To say it has swing is an understatement.

Thanks, but these guys say that the stadium is just an indication of the country or conditions and not the actual stadium

Since the 80s pak has kept conditions to favour swing. Likes of Wasim Waqar and all ripped up teams due to this.

So, all the 4 teams which won the toss are batting first!

Skills vs Akshay will start UK morning time tomorrow.
Ijazz vs Mani by evening UK time/night India time tomorrow.

Aldo vs Prath and harshad vs RedTiger should start morning UK time Saturday.

To be fair though, Browne is not a bad keeper his stats are fair and similar to Mushfiqur, obviously I've lost Mushfiqurs batting but philander should even it up by being a better bowler.
Yea as a keeper he was not bad at all. Mushfiqur lot better batsman though. Philander is good addition, especially as you are playing in SA.

I wouldve taken the field had I won so thank you for that. I have no less than four pacemen waiting to get the ball on that surface.

Yeah, surprised at everyone wanting to bat first considering where the matches are being played.
