He can't because it would be at a disadvantage to Argentina. The foul was to stop the play and he made sure it did. He needs to be taken out back.

I can’t really blame the ref for ruining that advantage. He blew the whistle when Coman was on the ground, Coman managing to get up so fast made it seem a lot worse.
The referees just seem to buy into all the cheating. If a player goes down they always give them the foul. If a player rugby tackles the opponent to stop a counter attack, the referee pulls the play back. Absolutely ridiculous referee.
