The F1 Thread 2012 Season

So.. you are saying if there has been no race going ahead in bahrain - that the protester shot dead would have made news in a F1 thread?

Are you for real? Ecclestone has taken F1 to a country in turmoil and it's quite clearly newsworthy. The fact that there is so much controversy around this race has led to protests specifically about the F1. Teams have been caught up in it and of course we're bloody talking about it.

A death in Bahrain would not get a mention in an F1 thread , but from I have read and seen the demo's are a result of the F1 race , Ecclestone is a prat and should not of let the race be held , I am not great expert about what is going on but it looks to me like the situation is no change from last year when the race was cancelled.

If you took the BBC presenting team and combined it with the sky commentary team it would be pretty much perfect.

I quite liked the Brundle/DC commentary combination to be honest.

Kimi confirms they tried to save tyres and it didn't work out for them. Could work out ok tomorrow though.

So basically what you are saying is we need to tell sky to feck off and just go back to the BBC coverage from last year?

fecking cuntface back where he belongs then I see

Quali isn't that important I don't feel, its gonna be a race all about tyre preservation.

The overhead TV shots with all those colours on the ground and the plainness of the desert had mewondering if I was watching a comuter game for a moment.

New computer games look better to be fair!

I have real fear the something horrible is going to happen tommorow , I really hope I am wrong.

Yep. The most important thing tomorrow is that the day ends without anything kicking off.

Just realised the race starts 30 mins into the match

Another one for the 'why I hate Bernie Ecclestone' list.

Coverage kicks of at half 11 on sky's ports f1, but does this not have any Bbc coverage? It doesn't according to my tv guide (which I am hoping is wrong)

Button with a shit start, Vettel already opening the gap. The race is on......for second place.
