The F1 Thread 2012 Season

Good defending from jenson, reckon its only a matter of time though.

Because his car was already faster than 21 of the other driver's cars on the grid?

That's exactly the point I'm making, it's like Vettel looked at how much faster his car is and said, "Ok, I'll start from the back... and I'll probably clip my front wing... twice?? ... and maybe even throw in another pit stop to boot; let's see if I can still win this".

I mean, seriously, for everyone comparing Vettel/RB to United, we don't make everyone else look like league two opposition every week.

It helps when he is a much better driver than Webber. I know I can't stand Webber, even before this race, because he has the bset car on the grid but still gets no-where near close enough to challenge for the world championship. Vettel is an amazing driver, there is no denying it. He is exceptional at keeping up his pace, and he also has the best car on the grid. A bit like Schumacher in his Ferrari days.

Yeah I see that. Quality driver, amazing car, brilliant chemistry within the team. That's why I can't comprehend why he'd go to Ferrari -- even if he wants to emulate the previous German legend, he's got the same set-up at Red Bull.

Yeah, I didn't understand that either. Leave the best car and best team for maybe the 3rd best car and team.

2 Safety Car's, as well as inept driving from Webber and Hamilton's retirement all helped, a lot.

Would love to see button keep vettel off the podium and Kimi to win.

See how Button doesn't take out Vettel? Take note, Webber.

Great driving from Seb.

Surely he can hold Alonso off for one lap

Button passed around the outside, get used to the future McLaren.
