Initially yes, but once he realises this time last race he was best part of 8 tenths off in Quali I really don't think so. According to BBC McLaren has a tad more wing on which is nice if it rains but none the less that first corner is gonna be mighty. Great quali session.

I think he will be happy with that , most people had wrote off McClaren off this season after a bad pre.
I think Hamilton will fancy his chances in the race , even more so if the expected rain arrives.
The extra downforce will definitely help if it does rain, either way it should be a good race, they're so evenly matched.

Hm, fair enough, don't underestimate Vettel in the wet though, his first race win was at Monza for TR and was fantastic wet drive.
oh I agree Vettel is a very good wet driver , I just think Hamilton has a slight edge , but rain or no rain ,I have a feeling this will be a very close race.
Weather forecasts in Malaysia will be rain throughout the day. Such a shame that the whole of Kuala Lumpur was wet except in Sepang.

I fancy McLaren for the win mind, they do seem easier on the tyres, wouldn't rule out Button from 4th for that very reason
The straights should be a McLaren advantage but from the speed traps they are about even with Red Bull who also now have KERS. Red Bull in the past would have dominated Sector 2 here with their aero advantage but McLaren have just about matched them everywhere this weekend. They are right up there now in my opinion, the car's good and in theory should have plenty of development left in it.
Still think Red Bull will win this one but it should be a good one, rain or shine.
