The F1 Thread 2010 Season

If Webber wins the last GP, and Alonso is second, they're tied on points, and tied on race wins with five each. Who'd win the title, dunno who's had mosts second places, surely Webber?

No. Alonso would be a point ahead. Alonso lead by 8 points right now.

I know they both currently have contracts, but I wonder if Webber and Vettel will both still be Red Bull drivers next year with that kind of relationship. I know they don't have to be bestest buddies but it must have an impact on the team as a whole.

Ah bollocks that's my maths for you

So Webber needs a favour from his team mate potentially, pretty tasty

Tell you what would be interesting, if you have todays last lap as the last lap of the next race. Would it have been possible to get Webber over the line just ahead of Vettel, both just ahead of Alonso?!?!

Shit would go off, that's for sure

Surely Webber would be let go.

Was that "fair and square" comment from webber a dig at alonso there?

I thought it was extended? There was talk of Kimi coming back and racing alongside Vettel a while ago but I think that's optimistic.

That would be epic. Kimi in a Red Bull

So well the same front 3 next race will do me fine. Alonso so close now.

Jenson doesn't think there's a stronger team out there, someone should show him the WCC table.

If Webber or Seb do lose the title by 7 points to Alonso you would be pissed off.

I thought I'd made this point earlier in the thread (quick search shows I was wrong), but I'm almost certain it's going to go to Alonso by less than 7.

Horner's just basically confirmed that if a swap will secure the WDC for one of the drivers next race then it'll happen because the drivers will do it themselves.

It sure would but I don't see it happening, I doubt Kimi will return.

He did say last year he might come back after a year.

And can't really see Webber and Vettel continuing as team mates. Kimi in a car that fast would be awesome.

Maybe Hamilton will try and move to Red Bull? All he does is whine about his car nowadays.

Nah say what you want about Hamilton, he's a McLaren boy through and through.

As for Kimi, don't get my hopes up!

So the only way Hamilton wins the championship is if, Alonso, Vettel, and Webber DNF?

If so...YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not too sure bout that. Sure he's been brought up in the McLaren but I remember reading some rumors where he said something along the lines that he would move (not sure where I read it ).

Maybe controversial but for me it seems that he needs a great car to win. Can see him moving some point in the future.

As for Kimi well we live in hope

Kimi lost the fire in his belly after his WDC. He was pretty pathetic for his last two years. I don't think he'll return
