The F1 Thread 2010 Season

Funnily though SPA 98 is one of the greatest races of all times. But I agree they shouldn't start this race

feck it let's just bang on the wheels and go racing, let mother nature take care of the rest

0726: Okay, here's Christian Horner. "The weather system we saw says 40 minutes [until the rain stops]. It was the right decision to stop the race. These cars aren't designed to drive round at slow speeds. There's a lot of aquaplaning," he tells us. "The biggest concern is daylight." It's set to go dark, officially between 0930 and 1000 BST - that's 1730 to 1800 local time.

hah....Horner talking about the light, as I said, sunset around 5.40pm, and it gets dark very quickly.

So that doesn't leave much time for a proper race? Maybe a quick 20 lap sprint?

What frustrates me is the fact that we'd have a dryer line after a few laps. Get our there and race.

It's a brand new track with no rubber ever having been laid down, you don't know how long it'll take forms dry line to form.

What happens if they cant restart? No points or does Vettel win because they had a few laps behind the SC

Half points unless they reach 75% race distance.
