The F1 Thread 2010 Season

the medical car can handle the wet weather better than a F1 ca I would wager

Well its not as if none of the engine manufacturers don't sell cars in this country, go out buy a road car of your name sake :D.

Of course this means that the Redbulls would be running around in Renault Meganes and the 4 Cosworth runners in a bunch of Sierras.

If 75% is going to be achieved under the safety car and full points awarded, it's a bloody joke.

Hamilton wanting to race, and people thinking he's a hero for it.

Completely ignoring the fact, he potentially has the least to lose, and the most to gain, couple of people crash in front of him, and a finish from him means he is right back in the thick of things...alternatively he crashes out, and others finish...well, he's a bit of a long shot atm.

Exactly.

And Webber is any different? or Alonso? or Vettel? As far as i'm concerned ignore the top guys and go and talk to the likes of Rosberg, Schumi, Rubens etc. Drivers who don't really have a stake in the title hunt.

Lewis is a racer. He probably would go for it even if he was leading the Championship.

Schumi going off track a couple of times driving behind the SC. He should retire.

 @ Lewis radio, that boy just wants to get going

If he were in Webber's position and you think he'd want to race, you are out of your mind.

Obviously a non race suits the top 3 very nicely...I'm just saying people shouldn't be wanking over Hamilton wanting to race...he is looking out for his best interests, just like Webber, Vettel and Alonso are.

It just happens today this means, they are at opposite ends of the debate.

I agree bring the Sc in or stop it completely

Lap 12: And yet another one behind the safety car. Hamilton wants to get going but here's Mark Webber: "I don't see a big difference to be honest". This is getting tactical. Red Bull want to hold what they have. McLaren's 2008 world champion Hamilton is gagging for the chance to steal some points. Intrigue. Five minutes more rain forecast.

Webber desperately not wanting them to get out there...hehehe. He wants the half points that would all but mathematically rule out the McLarens.
