Mate its the reason why we are so far in the league. Our team is mostly shambles, these matches against shoddy European teams don't show or prove anything. Ozil again seems like a star, he'll vanish as soon as we play someone of note. Ramsey and Iwobi are proven bottlers as well, Cech less said the better. I could keep going on but I sound like a bitter man. Sooner Wenger goes the better.
Even his passing is off. He kills the momentum with too many touches when only one or two is enough before releasing the ball. You don't need him your team IMO. Ozil is a better playmaker and a DM would be high on your shopping list I imagine. Very overrated by Arsenal fans.

This is a really strange game, CSKA are zipping the ball quite nicely but Arsenal have done enough for this game to be 7-1. A CSKA goal would make things interesting for the second leg.

Nah, CSKA are so bad defensively that 10 mins of intensity of Arsenal could easily bring 2/3 goals. Pretty amazing that CSKA are still trotting out the Berezustki brothers, Russia not producing any young players of quality these days?
Arsenal not really looking that motivated either, maybe because they know the opposition are poor but they have to win this tournament. Madrid are the favourites but trying to rebuild for the new manager when Wenger goes in the Summer will be much harder with no CL football to offer.

The only way we are winning the EL is avoiding Atleti till the final. I don't think we can beat them over two legs. Their defence is too good and Costa and Griezmann will destroy our defence over 180 minutes.
The fact they need it more brings with it the pressure which is usually their undoing?
I think they'd do the same against United....a one off game would be your best chance but they will be favourites I'm sure.

they're skint I think. they used to have plenty of those Brazilian young players not so long ago, similar to Shakhtar. looks like they can't afford them no more and what they produce obviously isn't good enough, so they just continue to play Ignashevich and Berezustki brothers forever.

He's not even a midfielder for them, he plays like a second striker for most of the game. Their team shape is so messed up that Ozil was deeper than Ramsey for most of that game.
