The Europa League 2017/18(Use the SF thread to discuss the current match)

If he’s gonna dive like an Olympic swimmer I don’t want him representing England. We’re better than that.

Someone texted this to the BBC.

I hope its sarcasm

I wonder if he doesn't want Kane or Alli representing the national team either?

Borussia Dortmund are absolutely rubbish, it looks like they don’t even care. I hope they know they need to score two goals to go through, against bloody Salzburg!

Just seen the goals. Cracker from Milan though maybe a deflection?

That penalty though, crazy decision. Looked incredibly soft from first viewing and even worse on the replay.

Russian hooligans at it again?
Possible. There are 100 Russian hooligans but Lyon fans aren't the last to get into trouble.

The worse fans of the day are from Marseille whose ultras attacked two Bilbao guards. Disgusting.

Two games on the trot they have had to put up with this sh*t.

Commentator was completely lost there on that diving decision. That Kessie guy can be quite handy. Not as intense as you'd think but still pretty decent.

The ref in the penalty area who awarded the penalty is one of the worst referees in Sweden. Its unbelievable that he gets to figure at these levels.

I watch the conference - and the German speaker some minutes ago told that it might be good to leave Salzburg now - maybe it will get better the next time they "visit" the match... Says all...

That was 100% not a dive by Welbeck, the moment he got the ball at his feet in the box his brain turned to mush and he lost all co-ordination of his legs. It's a serious condition and people shouldnt make light of it :nono:

Suso is Spanish
Raised at Liverpool though I think - disappointing effort given he had Gerrard to help develop him.

Wilshere with his classic “bump into the defender and drop to the ground” move - works every time.

Just thinking how few of these Milan players actually have any meaningful European experience.

Makes such a change from when they had and who's who of European football legends.

Might not be a good thing that went in. It just means even more pointless 40 yard attempts from Xhaka in the future.

Lyon pulls one back. The last 20 mins may get interesting!
