So I first saw this Nazi* getting quote-tweeted because she was saying her usual stuff:

But following the chain, was a much more fun moment when an actual TERF (with the RF part) was getting owned by the misogynists and fascists she is allied with...check the replies here.

This H Pearl Davis is really…something. Following this post I had a look at her twitter feed and it really is just as awful. It’s like a race to see who can be even worse than the person that came before them with these people.

Big maths is the biggest thread to current society. They have all the numbers and continue to multiply.

I'll leave now.

They might be subtracting, I don't know, I lost count :D

Tbf at least Musk is South African. Why are reactionary fat blobs in Michigan suddenly giving a shit about the internal politics of a country they couldn’t find on a map.

South Africa has been a big talking point in white supremacist circles for years.

It's their holy grail, to recreate it!

That, too, but it's more for propaganda reasons. The main motivation is to push white genocide propaganda, where they try to establish it as a simple fact-by-numbers in SA's case, and extrapolate that to the rest of the world.

The way they do it is to take the number of farm killings divided by the number of farmers, supposedly getting to a murder rate much higher than for the general population. Farmers in South Africa are, of course, primarily white, and the story then becomes that the murders are motivated by race. The issue is that the numerator and denominator don't match: the people killed in farm robberies include farmhands, and they are not counted in the number of farmers. This artificially inflates the rate by a lot, because most people working on farms aren't landowners. Farmhands are also primarily black.

I'll take your word for it, I'm not up to speed with SA farming goings on, TBH that applies to pretty much everything going on there these days!

Reminds me of a Columbia economist who wanted to prove that India's farm suicides are not a big problem. He took government data on "farmer suicides" and divided it by the population engaged in agriculture. He happily concluded that farmers live such great lives, that the entire population's suicide rate should be brought down to their level.

But, the govt defined farmer suicides only as the suicide of a landowner-farmer. So tenant farmers, and the landowners family, don't make the cut- but do make the denominator, a roughly 6X disparity. And of course the numerator is refined and reduced at the point of collection too.

The economist went on to head a newly-created economic advisory board for the govt, before going back to Columbia to teach.

By the way, has anyone noticed that Patrick Bateman from the movie American Psycho has become a favorite character of online right-wing communities? You'l see all kinds of Patrick Bateman memes and edits on YouTube relating to right wing culture themes.

Coincidentally, an old boss of mine had right wing tendencies and he was a big fan of American Psycho. He would say stuff like people who earn more money should get lesser jail sentences because otherwise we'd lose the tax revenue he'd pay over his career. People who earn less aka poor people? Well, that didn't concern him too much.

They idolise him. They wish they could treat women like PB does. But they'd never dare to, because if they tried they'd likely end up overpowered and maced to the face.

Right wingers in not realising their hero is a satire of them? Shocker.

Same with Jordan Belfort. Art is completely lost on these people. And it’s not like American Psycho or the Wolf of Wall Street are subtle movies.
But it’s not a new phenomenon. There are enough people out there who idolise the Godfather as a character.

Patrick Bateman is simply misunderstood and the women had it coming. I bet some of these dorks own a chainsaw too. They'll never use it, but just knowing it's there is enough to convince themselves that they could go full Bateman if they wanted to.
