My suggestion: Stick to the 8hr deadline strictly. When the round ends (after Viva/crappy have picked) - those who didn't show up for their pick get a couple of hours to post their last pick. If they fail to do so, they get a sheep assigned.

Yep, i agree. People taking ages now so it's completely annoying.
And this is supposed to be the 12th man or the non-Europe super useless criteria. Not going to be a star picked, imo.

@Chesterlestreet I completely agree, anyone who won't pick within the 8 hour rule and won't pick until I pick last round will be assigned a sheep imo.
Indeed, this or get shot of Cazorls and play a midfield three of Di Maria-Arteta-Gattuso. Your left flank would still be formidable and on the right there would be no worries about covering Maicon so you could really have both wingbacks bombing forward.
That's probably what I'll play. Just checking out other options to see if I can improve somehow.

Did I miss something spectacular if I don't know who Wong-jae is? Was he the South-Korean goalkeeper in 2002, who looked decent during that tournament if I remember correctly?

Gattuso isn't a midfield anchor. Play Arteta centrally where he can best influence the game with his passing and have Gattuso right, as usual, and Di María doing very much what he did over the last season. All three best used.
Carlos is going to dominate the left flank with or without Cazorla. I would jettison him (sorry Santi) and bolster the midfield with a trio of Di Maria, Arteta and Gattuso. The defence and central midfield are lacking some star quality so they both need tactically strengthened.Thanks guys. @rpitroda Are unpicked players available in reinforcement rounds? If so, it removes a great fun side of snake drafts which is the roster of glaringly stupid omissions.
At the rate we are moving Annah has about a week to find out who this chap is that would solve his winger compatibility problem, sending Hazard to the bench as solely a central front four option. Best attacking trio in this draft and all the way to the final... But only if he works it out, mwahaha

I'm holding you partially responsible for the stalemate of this round Anto. Think a few are still trying to work out who these hidden gems are without European football that you were going on about. I can't think why else people would give a useless 12th man criteria so much thought.

Oh no, in the outside Europe it's largely keepers and Higuita/Arce level players - country/club legends that will do a job but people won't rate as highly as they deserve.
The born in a different country is a different cup of tea, he would be way up there with the very best picks. Easily a turn 2/3 pick on that basis, which would be quite a coup in turn 12.
