Watched so many this season where he's been comically bad, and the likes of Savage, Gary, etc never mention it. They may say the team hasn't performed, but never him. I honestly don't recall one game where his performance has been directly called out.
You wonder whether it's because earlier in his career he's been written off plenty only to embarrass his naysayers, and perhaps there's still a latent fear of being shown up. On the other hand it may just be the fear of being blanked by his royal "Highness"

Without picking a favourite, no matter how many tricks you have, how much skill you have there's only one thing that matters in football, score more goals than the opposition, the player that enables that the most is the best IMO
