Just finished season 2 today. Oh boy!!
Herogasm I mean WOW. So much happened this episode.
The Soldier Boy, Homelander , Butcher fight was diabolical. And Hughie with the naked teleporting assist was fun. I loved how shocked Homelander was at Butcher's upgrade. He finally decided to stop toying with Butcher but ooops not so easy to kill now. It was a smart decision to have the fight indoors too to limit the flight aspect until the end.
A-train was still trash but he FINALLY was honest for once apologized to Hughie and handled the racist.
This was an interesting way to give Noir a storyline here. He ran, then we find out he maybe masterminded Soldier Boy's sale to the Russians. Interesting.

I can't get over how good this show is. Hughie's slow transformation into Butcher is being done very, very well.

Its great and one of the reasons I didnt hate Hughie as we only really had two seasons and was wondering how his story would evolve. This is a great way to do it.

That was great but I have to say, Herogasm was way too overhyped, expected something through the roof insane but for the standards set by the show, nothing blew my mind.
Think it was intentionally overhyped so people would be more excited when the final fight scene kicked off, that said MM being covered in splooge and the Deep fecking an octopus was pretty gnarly.

Agree. It was good advertising but there was nothing absolutely jaw-dropping in it. Tiny Man crawling inside the dick and sneezing was waaaay more shocking than anything at the Herogasm party.
Fight scene was so good. Hopefully we get to see more of Soldier Boy, I’m really liking the character.

Hughie, Frenchie and Kimiko's part bore me to death, the rest is very very good.
Yeah I'd be glad if they just killed off Frenchie and Kimiko
The deep and his friend Tim was pretty hardcore. "He's praying, oh my god he's praying"
Kimiko has a lovely smile tbf.
Whats weird is he was a different character when he was introduced. Add to that, the whole "im a deranged crime boss and I'll make you choose between two loved one's" thing doesnt fit with the tone of the series and was poorly written.
I can stare endlessly at Kimiko's face, but her story feels completo.
