Statistically it's still incredibly unlikely for one individual to get killed in a mass shooting. Especially if you stay away from the most dangerous places, like schools.

Statistically, if you hear gun fire then running to a stranger's driveway and hiding behind a bush will drastically reduce your chances of getting shot from 99% to 80%.
