At this moment in time, Canada seems to provide the best of the original American dream albeit we are still far from perfect.
Happened around the area where my brothers kid goes to school. He was listening in to the police scanners last night and apparently this person was in around the Smyrna area where my brother lives
Apparently the assailant commandeered a pickup truck & ended up in Cobb County where he was apprehended.

Just got word my cousin, a nurse practitioner and father of two under 3 year olds, was shot dead walking home from work. I think I’m not ok and will be gone for a while. Why? I hate this place.

Im sorry but no. I know that Desantis does it for the wrong reasons. But i dont approve of abusing ilegals to pay them low salaries and not insurance protected. If that guy needs workers push with other business to get working visas or raise the salaries to get locals. There is always a price. And if everybody has to increase prices to get the jobs done, maybe then it will be the pressure to get legal immigration
The thing is that im tired that ilegal immigrants are the ones prosecuted by the law while the abusive employers pays no price for breaking the law hiring them also.
I know what you mean nd i feel for gor employers in difficulties, but in my experience, are a minority when is about abusing immigration
I worked ilegally but of course not because i needed to survive. Just for travelling. They caught me and i got to prision and got kicked out of the country. No biggy and didnt care much. No really attached to the country and jumped to the next adventure. But the company that hired me (paying me below markey) that was a biig company with venues up to 1000 people in 1 restauant in the most important area of sydney harbour with 5 different restaurants aound, paid no price
