The Apprentice

Melody is just too annoying and it's pretty obvious when the shit hits the fan she steps back and blames the rest.

Jim & Helen at this point should be the final two, Helen must be nailed on to win it though.

That's where my money is going.

Spoiler in next week's sacking?

"No guts, no balls, your fired" there's a few you could definitely rule out, and you possibly even hazard a guess it's tom?

"No guts, no balls, your fired" there's a few you could definitely rule out, and you possibly even hazard a guess it's tom?....or Susan

I added a bit into your spoiler

Helen is a fecking machine. Its a shame Susan "That is so unfair" Ma, doesnt have any balls, because she actually has some good ideas.

That Melody...Jesus Christ. I know they get people like her on 'cos she's entertaning and all that, but she's actually a fecking bitch.

Thankfully, it's looking so far like Helen's gonna eat everyone else up, shit them out and spread them over her larn.

There's absolutely no way that Helen won't win. Not sure who'll get to the final with her... Jim, probably.

Natasha is shite, dunno how she's managed to last this long because she doesn't seem to do anything useful. As for Melody, what an utter cnut! Normally I'm all for keeping pricks on the show for the purpose of entertainment but she's actually just too fecking annoying to bear for much longer.

Jim was lucky to be on the winning team as he would have been fired for doing nothing

Apart from getting the right insights from the focus group, designing and actually making the biscuits, and delivering a pitch that brought in £1.6m...

Agree - can't see what he contributed...

Did you watch it at all?

It was him that pitched the 800,000 units to ASDA. A pitch that Sugar said prior to him finding out he got that order was him bullshitting (biggest bullshitter in the world he called him), i found that a bit odd on Sugars part.

I reckon Jim is well on coarse to win it now, fantastic salesman & well wide when it comes to the cut throat world in business today.

In his pitch he talked about an TV advertising campaign,
Even if they used mid morning til the evening news slot on ITV, it would cost 25k to show a 30 second advert once in all regions. So 4x day 10 day campaign would cost a million, adding the 15% seasonal fluctuation price increase. (summer months). Then theres the cost of filming the advert and additional poster campaign.

Mega product launching a is fine, but you need massive amounts of capital to kick start it,And he surely would have known this. You would need huge investment, or an established company like McVities to really be able to do what he said they were prepared to do.

It was well pitched, but did not make any sense as I thought they would have clear guidelines on what they could promise the buyer.

Ok, you think his pitch was good?

his bicuits looked play schooly, they were sickly, the message was contradictory, i thought the packaging was shit and the people at asda cringed more than i did at his pitch

without his pitch they might have bought a lot more, he was utter shit and thats why his pitch was pulled apart in the boradroom

but hey, you know best

I don't profess to knowing best at all - I just listed things he did.

You argued that he did nothing, which is patently untrue.

The other team was criticized for having terrible biscuits, Helen's team was not, which would imply that they were ok.

Message was indeed contradictory - no arguing with that!!

I also agree with regard to his promises in the pitch - it's so easy to say "huge TV campaign" blah, blah.

Fact is, more and more companies are spending much less on TV and much more on social media. I would have expected a pitch to have referenced this.

Will most likely be a final consisting of Melody & Helen . Helen will win.

This years candidates have been boring.

Hope Natasha goes if her team loses, she's full of shit and has no respect for anyone else. Helen is miles ahead for me, Jim started well, had a blip but is looking good again.

Should be Melody or Natasha I think. I know they were the project managers but they had far less idea than the other 4. I hope Natasha goes, I predicted it this afternoon :smirk:

I've only been half watching this, what's the fine for and why's sugar so pissed?

Hope Tom stays, but he's a bit of a useless cnut. Melody is very annoying and she was shit today but she has something about her. Helen just won't go, surely.

Cos they didn't reinvest the money and so basically won the task without actually doing the task. Which is a bit silly because, as long as its legal, who cares how the money is made?

If so I called it first folks
