Starts next Wednesday, 6th October. Been looking forward to this for agesssssss!

The Candidates are here - BBC - The Apprentice - The Official Site

One of them 'credits himself with originally conceiving the bendy bus', and one was an extra in Saving Private Ryan

Finally. Always seems like about two years between series.

And we have our first candidate for 'Looking like a retard' of the year.

Let's hope he stays in a while.

Who remembers that big guy who was ridiculously stupid, and offered next to nothing? All I can remember was while discussing a task with the team, he sat down and read a book, failing to see an issue with this.

Was that the chap in the last series? He was hilarious, some of the stuff he came out with.

I can't find him. He was the biggest guy out of the entire programme, he was huge!

Quite stupid, offered basically nothing and consistently got everything wrong.

Here's the biggest idiot of last season though:

I think I'm going to watch this season, never seen it before.
The girl I sit next to at work is really excited for it, and then seeing you lot love it, makes me think it might be worthwhile!

I ignored it for two years, despite my friend constantly telling me to watch it. It's very good. You have a lot of idiots on the show, and it's one of those where you are constantly shouting at these people, who are meant to be amongst the smartest, brightest talents in the country. The tasks are funny, Sir Alan never takes shit, his two old cronies are the best to watch, and you are guaranteed to see some kind of breakdown every episode.

The best apprentice contestant ever was Tre. Absolute legend.

Looked a bit like this guy though.

Yeah he was hilarious.

Ah brilliant, didn't realise this was starting up again. Usually one of the best things on TV for sure.

I love the show but I havwe to say the whoel "Lord Sugar" thing grinded on me last season. Doesn't have the same ring to it as "Sralan".

Haven't they changed the prize now? From working for Alan Sugar to him becoming an investor in your business idea? Or is that next season that they will implement that. It seems like all the apprentices are people who have their own ventures.

Probably won't watch this season. It's turned too much into a soap opera for my liking. I preferred it when the candidates actually wanted the job rather than to become a TV star.

News just in!
The guy I sit next to at work (other side) apparently went to school with Raleigh Addington!
Apparently the guy is "hilarious but he's such a douche"

I think that was just for The Young Apprentice.

It's on tonight yayayayayayyayayayyay

BBC One, or BBC HD for us cultured and rich bastards, at precisely 9pm.

The first task is to manufacture and market a brand of sausages.

Will watch it tonight. You can be sure someone will balls up the simplest of tasks. I think it was last year when the first task was to wash cars and the male group completely fecked it up big time making more mess of the car than when it first arrived for them to clean

Considering our economy more than most is based on services this programme doesn't inspire much confidence.

I could punch every single one of those blokes in the face.

Someone needs to tell that bird that there were 17 manned Apollo missions and a couple of dozen probes and satellites sent up, with Apollo 11 reaching the moon.

Just flicked over to this, why has that guy with the pink tie on tied his knot as wide as his head?

edit: there's another one too, for feck sake you tossers, tie your ties properly!!!!

Too right.

Did that guy really just claim to be one of the most successful people in the world?

Do they recruit for this programme at the job centre? And not the good people at the job centre.

He was saying he was sitting across from from one of the most successful people in the World.

I'm pretty sure he said that he was sitting there as a 21 year old and not many 21 year olds were in his position as one of the most successful people in the Country if not the world, then Sugar pulled a face which suggested he was thinking "you frigging what?"

I don't think I can watch this programme anymore, its just full of twonks.

I just rewound it on sky plus, he said he was sat across from one of the most successful people in Britain and the World and would accept criticism from them and not other people.

The Welsh bloke sat there in that boardroom and kept quiet and returned to the house akin to a conquering hero.

The BBC recognise that it is a programme full of idiots hence they have the comedic reaction programme.
