Tend to agree. Probably my favourite Slam too, something about the NY crowd. As a Rafa fan the 2013 and 2019 finals are probably two of my favourite title wins.In an era where three Slams have been fairly predictable, I think this is what has made the US Open so much fun! The only Slam where you genuinely don't know who will win.
I used to hate in the 2000s with Federer dominating and Nadal being fairly useless there but its become a favorite since then! His first USO was just extremely emotional and stressful but yes, there's just something about those late nights in New York and the sheer unpredictability of it that just make it such a fun Slam to watch. I think with players coming in fatigued, the quality does suffer a bit but I think its worth the trade-off with multiple different winners.Tend to agree. Not always but she can be quite error prone. She's improved her consistency this year but still very much a high risk, high reward type of player. Near unplayable at her best but she doesn't play with safety which means her level can fluctuate quite wildly.I don't really watch any women's tennis so I'm quite clueless but does Sabalenka always hit this many errors? Only watched the second set but all she's done is try to blast winners with every shot and she's spraying errors off her forehand.
She coughs up more errors but hits more unreturnables than most. But to answer your question, they’re both just super tight. This match is no reflection of their general level. They’re both really great players.I don't really watch any women's tennis so I'm quite clueless but does Sabalenka always hit this many errors? Thank you! And yes, I did kind of gather that from this set of tennis. Some great winners and some more ridiculous errors. It's quite crazy. Not always but she can be quite error prone. Thanks for that! I guess the nerves are definitely playing a part because it's just rained errors from both sides. Though Coco has looked a lot better this set.She coughs up more errors but hits more unreturnables than most. But to answer your question, they’re both just super tight. Both players have double the number of errors than winners. Feels more high tension and dramatic than high quality, no?High quality stuff here.
Enjoying this

First time Jason Biggs has been onscreen in quite a few years, I'll wager.
He had it dipped in a Honey Deuce.Missed it. Hope he didn't have his dick in a pie.

Feel like this is one key area Medvedev can also improve on. Feels like his net game hasn't really improved since those two big finals vs Rafa.Sabalenka's to net/approach game has let her down at times. Playing doubles isn't the be all and end all but it can really help players at the net and have more variety in singles.
Agreed, I think he's not afraid to come forward which is a positive at least but he should really try to improve that area of his gameFeel like this is one key area Medvedev can also improve on. Feels like his net game hasn't really improved since those two big finals vs Rafa.

It's saying who the defending champion was and that they didn't win so they have a cross next to them. This table is wrong, it should be one year back. Del Potro in 2009, Nadal 2010, Djokovic 2011, Murray won in 2012 etc...
What it should be!Crowd is wild

You should just have it as the winners corresponding to the actual year. People can see no one has defended it.
