Tennis 2023

Carlos, Carlos, 2 suicidal runs to the net when he was in control of the point, nervous tactics.

Carlos' mental strength in big moments is one thing I'm definitely a big fan of. Most of the Next Gen would have collapsed at 3-0.

Doesn't exactly bode well for the next few years. Definitely need a few more to come through.

Feck me! Can't. believe Alcaraz won that tie break!

Djokovic blew that tie break. A couple of unforced errors that he wasn't even trying to hit a winner with.

Still see Novak winning but at least we get a proper match. It's the finals we want more tennis!

Looked caught in two minds too

Won it.

Weird though, watching Djokovic this tournament I don't think he is quite what he was but he has generally been so steady at the important point of sets, allowed others to make mistakes, odd to see him falter at that. Alcaraz deserved that.

So unusual for Novak. Dare I say it, maybe he got nervous?

Alcaraz literally outplayed him in the tie break.... stuff this "Novak blew it" shit. Alcaraz should of won it sooner.

Novak had set point and hit a standard BH into the net I think?

Bit of both!

deserved 1-1. Alcaraz forgot the first set entirely. Djokovic struggling in every service game and doesn't seem capable of winning any big rally unless Alcaraz makes an error. like I've said before match, he's nothing like other finalists.

If Alcaraz constructs his points better, he'll be able to take this match from Djokovic.

Just needs more measure and depth before going big on his shots.

Come on Carlos that's a shit shot
