 Exodus making up the knee injury being mentioned at the AO. He's on record as saying the lack of matches has resulted in his knees being as good as ever.

He has a 7mm tear in one of his abdominal muscles.

He had a 26mm tear when Del Po destroyed him at the USO in 2009.

Reading Djokovic's tear was up to 25mm by the end of the Australian Open last year and was 17mm after his match against Fritz.

I guess there is hope that it's not too bad right now.

And the reason he didn’t want people to know that specific issue is because players will now be studying his recent games looking for the pain positions and looking to stress it further.

Any tard of any of the big 3, especially a Novak fan, complaining especially about the other 2 needs to have their head examined. They all have some question marks, which you would, when you have such a long successful career.

Djokovic is the poster child of faking injuries. Just to put it in context, Federer called him out for faking injuries in 2006, when he was still a nobody.

This is Roddick in 2008 (still before Novak's first GS win)

Obviously his 2011 US Open win against Nadal was the perfect example of "strategic MTO" usage. As was his win in the AO final against Murray in 2015 when even Murray who is seemingly a very nice person called him out on as well

Neither Nadal nor Federer have been called out for such behaviour by other GS winners.

Nadal obviously indulges in gamesmanship, especially with his serve where he will slow it down when in trouble. Both him and Federer have also used the MTO to change momentum while losing as well. Federer's fanbase has indulged in more gamesmanship, similar to what helped Norrie beat Goffin today.

As for doping, Djokovic's overnight transformation after moving to a "gluten-free" diet remains the biggest red flag in major sports since Lance Armstrong became the GOAT endurance cyclist after having cancer.

Nadal's endurance and strength have been present since he was 15-16 and way more natural. The biggest red flag with him are his return from injuries, which are an outlier even in modern sports science. Federer's return in 2018 was similarly suspicious.

And in terms of obnoxious behaviour in terms of bashing tennis rackets to abusing linesmen and umpires (and that's without counting the anti-vax stance and cheating with the Covid test), Novak is in tiers above. Federer was bad as a young adult but the only obnoxiousness from both him and Nadal as older adults is being sore losers and not really helping the lower ranked players in terms of prize money.

Yeah, that’s the dark aspect of any top sport trade, super-human levels of attention / reactivity / endurance distributed along 15 years of career at the very top… it clearly needs maximising every available tool, who knows how near or how beyond the given limits. Conspirationists also say that Novak cannot afford the vaccination because of who knows the effects of that coupled with many other sh*ts he assumed or still assumes. Nadal is a different proposition along the same lines, and more on the recovery aspect than the performance enhancement.

Doubt he's holding a press conference to say he's okay but lets see

Faking an injury to put the opponent off and now withdrawing to claim Djokovic only won the title because he was injured...sure a few here have those thoughts...

It kind of sucks that Fritz doesn’t get a chance to play for a shot in the final.

wild accusations, miles from the truth. it’s norrie in the final that he fears. brits have historically always been the best at tennis and even a south african portraying one is enough to send the likes of nadal packing with his tail between his legs.

Nadal pulls out of Wimbledon. Wonder where all the embarrassments from last night are who thought he was faking it, eh? He has a 7mm tear in his abdomen and he's wisely chosen not to risk it.

it’s only 7mm, half the size of the average male penis.

Yeah, would have been a long shot anyway, wise choice

On course for a Grand Slam, unbeaten in Slam matches this year but chose to fake an injury to throw off Taylor Fritz and then withdrew just to make sure it looked like he's not faking.

Pity. Feel for him (and Fritz who must now be even more gutted)

nadal’s just been spotted jumping the queue at pirate falls at legoland in a wheelchair. clear what his end game has been all along.

Serious question: is Chris Froome an African?

If the answer is 'no', why should Norrie not be considered British?

He clearly has British ancestry and he chooses to represent Britain. That is his choice and it is not for anyone else to gain say.

ExoduS' posts were completely moronic, best to be ignored. A shame, we go again in the US hopefully.

Don't feel sorry for Fritz, if you can't beat an injured Nadal in the quarters, you don't really deserve to be in the semi's.

depends on whether or not froome is winning. like andy murray being british when he won wimbledon but scottish when his hips gave up.

noooooooooooooooooooooooo *breathes* oooooooooooooooooooooo

Similar to hockey only discussing upper or lower body injuries.
