Yeah he’s started doing what he was doing last year. But physically that defensive style also wasn’t gonna last long for him too.
Big part of what makes Nadal so insanely good is the fact being broken only makes him better. It's like a fecking catalyst to him.

Well that was a tad out the blue. Thiem did nothing on Nadal's serve only to play a very good 12th game of the set and level the match. Shows what can be done if you just keep getting the job done on your own serve. Nadal won't be happy with that. He was in control of that set as opposed to the first which was much tighter.
