Thiem attempting to beat Djokovic and Rafa back to back in a major (never been done before). Very inconsistent year he's having.
It’s one of the most trite things to comment on in sport but the amount it takes players to win points, much less sets and matches versus Nadal is staggering. Thiem has absolutely stitched the ball a few times and Nadal not only gets to it but returns it back to Thiem’s feet on the baseline.
