I've been impressed by Djokovic recently. I still don't think he'll win Wimbledon this year, but I think he'll be a big contender at the US Open and will probably win the Australian Open again next year.

Dkokovic is in full take on the entire world mode. It's great. Admittedly he'll end up being banned from the semi final for offering the referee out, but still...
Had handbags with umpire last match as well right?

Angry Djoker is still better than Depressed Djoker though.

Nishikori being broken twice in a row to lose the set is a disaster. Djokovic serving first in the 4th wouldn't give me any great hope for Nishikori.
Didn’t recover from blowing 40/0 on novak’s Service game. Needed that fast start

It’s actually sad how Fed’s ability to play the big points have declined from his peak. Losing Indian Wells from holding 2 match points on serve and now threw away 3 break points on forehand errors.

First decent opponent Federer has faced at this tournament and he's in a battle. Anderson should have held on in that 2nd set ugh. Anyway, this should give Raonic some hope of maybe taking a set as well in the semi.

Federer's form has deserted him, his serve is the only thing that's working at the moment

This is reminiscent of the 4th set at AO final. Everything Fed tried not coming off and his opponent’s hitting is just sublime.

So this is why I came home early to watch Roger. Had a feeling this would be a tough match for him and he's looking pretty bad at the moment. Feck:(

He made a pig’s ear out of it at the end of the 3rd. From holding match point to getting broken and then squandered away 3 break points, inexplicable.

Anderson is feeling it now. Has to break his momentum by slowing down on the rallies. Letting him whack it is just asking for trouble.

Could Anderson become only the 2nd player (I think) and beat Rodger after going 2-0 down
No chance. Federer rarely loses 5th sets unless it's to Djokovic. Anderson won't be able to handle the nerves now that he's level again and with the momentum.

70% 1st serve in and only 5 net approaches, winning 2.

Anderson pinned him to the baseline and when his serve dropped, he got into trouble.

Anderson really has this steel you wouldn't normally associate with him. I felt during his match with Monfils. The guy believes.

Just have a horrible feeling Roger is going to lose this. Don't know what's wrong with him today:( Even when he was 2 sets to love up I didn't feel confident.
Gonna ruin my day.

Roger serving first in the 5th, he needs to hold his serve and be a little patient.

The live tweets of a sporting event are the worst thing in the world. I thought the caf match day thread was bad

Think it happened to him vs Tsonga at a Wimbledon quarter finals if I remember correctly.

86% first serves for Anderson in the fourth set - surely he can't maintain that.

Yup Tsonga in 2011. Fed won the 2nd set there also in a TB. Anyway, history won't repeat itself. Fed's superior mental strength will show today.

Anderson is just not missing any first serves. Amazing consistency.

You said it yourself. He was impatient.

In the first he was slicing a lot more and forced errors out of Anderson. The guy won sth like 11% of baseline points halfway into the 2nd. Since Roger started whacking it, he got into his comfort zone and won the majority of exchanges since, and now the match is on his racquet.

I’m not confident if this gets to a tie break. Let’s hope Anderson’s level drops soon.
