Just seen the scores. The Thiem one doesn't shock me, Zverev struggling against the players he had been did point to a loss against a contender.

Meaning its not a rivalry nor is it likely to ever become one. Thiem reminds me of a modern day, poor man's Thomas Muster. A clay court specialist whose ranking is largely acquired on the clay court circuit who is generally mediocre on other surfaces.
Thiem is a non entity outside of the clay season and Zverev is a non entity at 5 set tennis. The latter has the better all surface game but I don't see it as much of a major rivalry.
Diego will be a tough match. He gave Nadal a tough fight even in Madrid and I won't be surprised if he takes a set tomorrow atleast. Diego, Del Po and Thiem is a really tough path to the title now
