fecking hate the commentators that are on duty for tennis tv today. Couldn't appreciate a good shot if it hit them in the dick

Watching on Sky. Their tennis coverage/commentary very good.

Trainer out for del Potro?

So are the other guys on tennis tv, just not these two. And the german sky commentator's are usually annoying as hell as well.

Nadal got bageled for the first time since 2008. Came across this interesting bit of stats:

One bagel in 17 years for Federer, 2008 at the FO against Nadal. Jesus...

And what a brutal dominating performance that was. It was "I'm in your head, we know you can't beat me on clay, this is my turf....and now, it's my time" shit. It's like why didn't Federer just lost in the semis that year, probably wouldn't of killed him so badly mentally that he wouldn't of lost Wimbledon either. Incredible it's nearly 10 years ago though, and well, both are routinely now the top 2 players of this year so far, madness.

Though maybe a surprise loss to any of the people he faced en route to the final may have been even worse just looking at his piss poor easy run, easily the peak of Nadal though, only taken to a tie break once by Novak.

Break, del Potro falterin a little.
Solid performance from Federer, though. Still holding up.

Another break. Let's hope his first serve doesn't desert him like it did when he served for the first set

Commentators say Del Po getting both wrists taped up?! Hope it isn't another injury

Looking at the draw, they should really be meeting again in the final. On Federer's side, just Zverev/Kyrgios/Stan in the semis as the main threats and on Nadal's side it's Nishikori.

I would be very surprised if Fed beats Stan or Nadal here.

So the number one seed and one of the strongest players currently out there. Zverev is no pushover either, none of them are easy encounters.

Why? He's playing great.
This court isn't the greatest for Fed's game though. Way too slow.

He has every chance of course, but I think it would be difficult. Anyway, he needs to win this match first

what a bad challenge that ball was way in:lol:

He can only play one of them. Certainly no pushover, but I'd expectbit to be against Stan, who he has a very good record against.
Slow court. Bad history in Miami etc.

I also think Kyrgios or Wawrinka are due a win against him.
Couldn't think of a time Kyrgios had even played Federer and turns out it was only once which Kyrgios won in Madrid 2015.

nice win. Now for Kyrgios

When Karlovic sits down he looks like the torso of a man 1,8m tall mounted on the legs of a man 3 meters tall.

I do want Nick to do well. He's got a devastating game, but his mental state/attitude needs to improve drastically. If he can calm down, he'd be right up there imo

It's monotonous as feck but I can't help but enjoy a Karlovic match every half year. The sheer ridiculousness of his serve, especially the bounces

He's a fecking giant! He should be able to serve like that. It's when his opponent moves him around the court is where it gets funny:D He just bumbles around! Bless

Still takes an enormous amount of skill, else we'd see 20 guys above 2m in the top 50.
He's such a nice bloke as well. I'll miss him when he calls it quits.

Yeah of course he does have to have certain skills, but I can't help but giggle sometimes when I watch him.

I'll miss him too when he's done:)

Kyrgios trying to lob him! Almost made it!

Well, time to hit the sack and let the sound of first serves lull me to sleep.

If either Mahut or Nadal smashes the other in about an hour and a half I could still watch the Fed-BautAg match

Mahut did well. Never looked like he'd win a set, but put up a decent performance. Solid yet unspectacular win for Rafa.

Rather boring. Nadal far from his best, especially on the returns and Mahut being Mahut.

What is this music they are playing in the stadium? My ears are weeping blood.

Bad match from Federer so far. Can't find his range at all.

Great point from Roger

Fed not doing too well with his net play so far
