Funny you left the part out where I was saying MAYBE he could squeeze an extra set out at most. Always going to be Nadal as the winner, the script is as predictable as GI JOE 1 and 2.

Seen it all again and again and again vs Nadal in grand slams.

If this goes for a fifth.. fear for Fed, extreme pressure is where you'd expect Nadal to thrive.
 
Federer's capacity for making terrible mistakes on what's basically a won point is astonishing. It's going to cost him the match I'm afraid.
 
If they go to the 5th do you think that the physical factor will be determinant?.
I mean,It seems that Roger is hardly sweating.I don't think that his mistakes are due to fatigue

For a player who can get that spectacular points, it is amazing how shit he is at making basic mistakes.

Nadal played a five setter in the semi final, too. And Fed has an extra days rest. I see Fatigue affecting Nadal more.
 
Looked it up. Since 2005-2007 they met five times in grand slams and Nadal won three vs Federer two. Since then Nadal's won all their grand slam meetings, usually finals and even in Federer's 'backyard' (wimbledon). Basically the route has started since Federer was 25-26 years old. And basically all in near identical scenarios.

Looking bleak. Would be poetic though if Federer took the last ever grand slam final between them after such a long losing streak during their primes.
 
Some horrible forehand errors from Fed this match. Feel like this might go down as his most painful defeat considering the match has been on his racquet.
 
Going to a 5th with Nadal definitely playing better. Looking bad for Federer. He'd be devastated to lose this having played really well.
 
All his groundstrokes are failing now, even the volleys and smashes. Relying on his serve.
 
The last Federer-Nadal to 5 sets,probably what all the fans wanted to see. Nadal looks very confident now.

Fed was awful in the second and fourth set, to be fair. He made so many basic mistakes.

If he can play like he did in the third set, then he'll win, but otherwise, it will go as usual.
 
Quick break again? Nadal's pressure on federer's serve going to be immense again. Can see the unforced errors from Federer already.

Btw I am supporting the swiss as usual but it's hopeless after seeing so many of the same disappointments.
