Would you have expected any different with the Querrey - Anderson match so far? 2 sets, 2 tiebreaks. 1 set each.

Just seen a stat on PCB. The first ever player in the open era to face four qualifiers in his first four rounds.

Anderson or Carreno-Busta in a GS final, just weird.
Very weird. I think having Querrey there would have also felt weird but in my mind I'd thinm well he did beat Djoko and Murrat at the previous two Wimbledon's.

Had a look at the head to head stats for these two and here's how it follows.

Anderson - Nadal: 0-4
Anderson - Rublev: 1-0
Anderson - Federer: 0-4
Anderson - Del Potro: 0-6
Overall 1-14

PCB - Nadal: 0-4
PCB - Rublev: 0-2
PCB - Federer: 0-1
PCB - Del Potro: 0-0

Overall: 0-7

Nothing surprising that they have lost most (only win was Anderson over Rublev in 2015) but they haven't played the potential finalists too many times.

Yeah Querrey credentials are better, 10 titles also in his career.

Anderson is 0-12 against Berdych, which speaks volumes about the quality of the bottom half. One legged Murray would've walked to the finals...

Blimey. On Murray, seems as though he's taking the rest of the year off and will be back in Brisbane.

aye would be a sad end of the season. Everyone in the top ten seems to be injured. If Fed's back injury aggravates it would be only Nadal and Dimitrov of the top ten who could be in some sort of good physical condition to finish the season.

Worth remembering Anderson beat two-legged Murray here two years ago, and should have beaten Djokovic at Wimbledon and Nadal in Paris that year too. Biggest worry is he gets to the final and has a Cilic-style meltdown... And if he does get to the final Rafa could win this without facing a single top 20 player, which would be something.

Would be pretty funny if Fed beats DelPo and Nadal, then has his back issue flare up prior to/during the final and the winner turns out to be from the bottom half of the draw.

Same for Federer too? Del Po seeded 24

The arrogant Vandeweghe is through to the semis. Extremely unlikable player with her behaviour and attitude.

Garbiñe new number 1. Something has changed for her in the last months, she seems mentally stronger

This match is going to be really uninteresting I guess.

Federer breaks and consolidates to love. Nadal breaks and gets broken right back

I'd be amazed if Rublev wins as many games as Dolgopolov did. At least us Europeans will have the chance to get some sleep before the interesting match of the day.

I'm a Rafa fan, but that first set was a bit of a tough watch. Rublev just looks a bagof nerves. Hope he can at least do something in the match to come away with a bit kf credit.

Won the first set. Well atleast the chances of him losing now are like 4/190.

No thank you. He can gain credit in future tournaments.

Approaching 3am for me. I hope this is quick. Rafa takes the 2nd set and I'm calling it a night and waking up for Fed.

Rublev starting this set much better. He's not going to be as bad as the fist set at all.
