Cilic took Fed close last year and should have won that match in 4 sets. I'd still have Fed favorite, but don't think he'd destroy him.
Fed last year was carrying an injury though. If he's fit I don't think it's close.

First thing first, must beat Raonic. I have him just behind Djoker as most dangerous opponent from the off.

Think Raonic is tougher opponent for Federer than Cilic tbf. Federer is a lot better, not to mention in much better physical shape than last year. If Cilic plays like he does today he's gone.

I thought the picked up that injury against Raonic last year?

I don't know why, but I just don't like Querrey. I'm sure he's a nice guy but I just don't like the breed of tennis player where they're like 2m tall and have a booming serve. Just don't find it exciting at all.

Cilic has been in better form on grass this year. Raonic has been unconvincing.

Should be the last we see of Murray til the US Open at least, depending on how bad it is he might be best advised to take even longer off. Really don't want Federer to face Cilic in the final so hopefully Querrey can play like he did in the last couple of sets on Friday.

Berdych out of 27 matches, has only ever taken 6 sets from Djokovic other than his 2 wins.

25-2 in Djokovic favour. That is astonishing.

Was like watching Rooney play football, labored, slow, past it. Murray's serve was dire, 1st serve percentage low despite being very slow, both serves offering no threat at all. While the young guy was blasting 133mph aces past him. We've seen peak Murray over.

Think talk like that is pretty premature. The hip injury he is carrying was clearly very significant today which would have a massive negative impact on his serve and the rest of his game... it's a bit soon to write him off given the recent renaissance we've all witnessed in Federer's career. A fit and healthy Murray would have won today in straight sets.

Fed's going to take this title with ease. Playing well and has Querrery/Cilic in the final.

This year's Federer would probably dismantle last year's Federer without breaking a sweat, let alone opponents that weren't even good enough to beat him last year. It's never a foregone conclusion but he's just so much better this time around.
