What a match that was. Results didn't go our way but pleased to see Del Potro play so well.
Gonna see what happens between Edmund and Pella, but wouldn't surprise me if we're 2 nil down at the end of all that.
 
Murray brothers won but GB are 2-1 down, expect Murray to beat pella but can't see Edmund beating JMDP
 
Expect Murray to win this of course. But can't see Del Po not winning his match..
 
Pretty bad loss by Edmund the other day. Pella is very average and I think Evans should have played after his performance against the US Open Champion. It would be cool if Evans and Del Potro played out a 5-set epic to determine who goes through to the final.
 
I suppose 12-14 sets in 3 days is asking too much of Del Potro but you'd have thought they'd have prioritised a second singles match over the doubles.
 
Didn't realise Del Po not playing. We could actually win this tie....

It's Evans/Edmund though. I'd still fancy a Del Pot win not at full fitness.

Evans playing pretty shite atm.
 
Woeful stuff from Evans. Makes you appreciate how good Murray is that he just swats these players aside in straight sets.

Yup, Edmund in bad form but still has the quality to turn instances like this around, there's nothing Evans can really do.

GB drawn to play Canada (away) in 2017 Davis Cup World Group 1st Round. Tough tie, especially if Raonic plays and Murray doesn't.

How far down the rankings will she be by then? I think its around 9 now
Or will she just be given invites to all top tournaments anyway?
Now that Serena finally seems to be declining and with sharapova still only 20 she could have a few years right back at the top of the game?
 
It's a fecking joke, but not a surprise. As is the case with most bad jokes: We could all see the punchline coming from a mile off. They'd never ban one of the few "interesting" and globally marketable players left in women's tennis for too long.
 
Actually though, it's not the cheating as much as the anyone to blame but me -saying she takes full responsibilty is just lip service when she mentions the ITF every other sentence. She's more afraid of the damage to her global Sugarpova business than playing tennis. This woman, i'm sure would do anything, as long as it serves her own purpose. What a turn-off.

She will be wildcard for top tournaments. She will become a top ten player again I'm sure.

It's a Masters 1000 event so think it might be one of the mandatory ones.
 
They are going apeshit on morning shows here.

If you don't like it, quit. Bringing the sport into disrepute isn't the way to go.
 
I love him. Sport is about entertainment for me and he is as entertaining as they come. That said, I'd be pissed if I'd bought tickets to watch that.

So Djokovic admitted he was mentally finished after winning the French Open and didn't enjoy playing tennis since then. Now he's saying he is not focusing on beating any records etc but instead wants to enjoy playing again and then whatever happens. I think it's a good attitude. Even if he doesn't win a single tournament anymore he's already had a bombastic career. Would be nice if he could at least reach Rafa's GS record.
 
Djokovic loses again.

Murray has a great chance of being number 1. I think Djokovic just seems burned out, which is no surprise considering the last 5 years he has had. Should take a break and come back refreshed in early January.
 
Completely forgot about Shanghai. Mainly cause Rafa got dumped put at the start. Not seen any of it, but pretty shocking for Djoko to lost to a guy like RBA in the straight sets.
