2-0 Wawrinka.
The crowd again showing they are the worst, most classless supporters in modern sport.
Rooting for Nishikori in this one. Future no1 i think.
not so easy, though not that I can stand the thought of him entering the all-time greatest debatewinning about 5-6 of the next 7 slams

Tennis desperately needs someone like Nishikori to step up big time or we are looking at Nole dominating & winning about 5-6 of the next 7 slams. Nishikori incredibly is the only player in quarters who is younger than Nole and even he is 25 so unless something crazy happens we are going to have a really one sided period coming up
Kei did the dirty work eliminating Novak. real pity about del Potro, and Murray needs someone like Lendl for a kick in the sCilic
Yeah Cilic's win was a real one off fluke tbh, he is barely ever made another slam or Masters 1000 semi final let alone win big.Kei did the dirty work eliminating Novak. real pity about del Potro, and Murray needs someone like Lendl for a kick in the s

what should be the breakthru age for those young guns now? perception has been skewed since the turn of the century by some of the all-time greatestDon't really agree with this. Just look at the slam winners last year. Murray is still a top player and hopefully Nadal can regain his form and stay injury free for the next few years. Hopefully some of the younger players step up but I don't think it's a major concern if they don't just yet.

2011 again, but I'm much more pessimistic this timeTomorrow will be massive in how this year goes forward for Nole, he has played the first 5 months at an incredible level winning pretty much every big event that he has played in but this is the one he desperately wants. Hope Rafa can do something special

I hope so too. What would be your prediction for tomorrow? I'm thinking either Rafa in 5 or Novak in 4.
Nah.Djokovic will dominate this match and this entire year. He might just get the Grand Slam. With the old powerhouses (Federer obv., Nadal as well) waning visibly, I can't see anyone to challenge him. Murray doesn't have it, the other leftovers (Berdy, Tsonga) from a pretty weak era overshadowed by three greats don't have it and the younger generation still lacks a talent that could really show greatness.
He's only ever had one multi slam year... I agree he's miles ahead of the rest at the minute, but he was last year as well and only won one slam.Djokovic will dominate this match and this entire year. He might just get the Grand Slam. With the old powerhouses (Federer and Nadal) waning visibly, I can't see anyone to challenge him. At least not over 5 sets.
Murray doesn't have it, the other contemporaries of that otherwise pretty weak era (Berdych, Tsonga)don't have, and the younger generation still lacks a talent that could really show greatness.
This is Djokovic's time to dominate for the next 2 years.
