ten Hag presser v S'hampton 1:30pm bst

I'm genuinely angry at the Martial news. Jesus Crist we are unlucky. Guess we will have to do with Ronaldo then.

I don't think it's luck. Martial should not be our primary striker. Unreliable fitness.

Martial's injuries seems to stem from the focus on fitness conditioning during training. Pressing requires a lot of stamina which is easier when your leg muscles are well toned. Before Ole, who focused more on fitness conditioning, Martial did not have that many injuries.

What an idiot. You don’t get to just invade someone’s personal space because ‘I work for Sky & Man United are a big club’. He comes across as a right twat there.
There's a version with better audio on YT.

"Don't push me, your on television. It doesn't look good." he kept making it more awkward for himself

Stop overreacting, it's Martial. You'd think we're discussing prime Messi being injured here.

Yeah, and the "I'm just doing my job" is such bullshit too. There's no requirement for journalists to act like aggressive twats.

Let's find something positive on Martial's injury:
  • Rashford can get his confidence back played up top
  • We will go harder in the transfer market
  • Perhaps even Elanga can be played into form

All these injury experts commenting on pre season fitness when it was just a bruise on the achilles

He's out for a few days not weeks. Contact injuries in training/matches happen.

He said hopefully fit for the next game - what the hell injury could that be to an Achilles

Don't recall anything during the game but, maybe just got kicked or something where it's just quite tender and would make movement difficult. So a short time for whatever swelling or such to go down and this game came too soon.

Surely we have grounds for cancelling Jones' contract? Those in the know of emoyment law can confirm whether inability to turn up for work for more than 90% of your contracted time over 5 years constitutes reasons for dismissal?!

Did something happen?

Aye Cotterill was stalking and harassing ETH back in May, hanging around outside Ajax’s training ground and barged in on him signing a shirt for a little kid. Then ambushed him outside Selhurst Park on the last day of the season hurling questions at him. First class wanker. This should also be the stance taken with all journalists that spew shite about Utd.

Yeah some of the posters above clarified it on why ETH ignored him. Plus can see a posted a tweet saying karma when we got embarrassed by Brentford.

Guy definitely comes across as a grade A+ dick

Did he mention a bruise? Because it could be tendinitis. Which is an absolute cnut to shake off. And would explain someone being available every second week like we’ve seen so far.

He said a few days out so I can only assume its nothing serious and just a knock.

Certainly didn't make it sound like a serious injury.

Martial has been linking well with Rashford. We'll be worse off.

There's a bit of SAF about ETH, I like that he hasn't forgotten about the dick that is Cotterill. No nonsense, hope that continues!

Well he’s only just back from being “a few days out” so it’s far from unlikely that this is the same niggle recurring. And a niggly Achilles can linger for months.
He was out with a hamstring before that. Not really related.

He probably just got kicked on the achilles in training and it's a bit sore.
