Neither Mourinho nor LVG would get their hands dirty like that. Assistant would have to be Giggs? I don't believe he would betray United for 5k.

I imagine that is the case. He would never have been hired if this was hanging over him. The FA hire yes-men and stooges. They dont want this.

The media is supposed to act as a watchdog. If it can help in any way keep the game clean even if their primary reason for doing it is selling papers, that's fine by me. They went out of their way to expose someone who is doing something wrong, that's what investigative journalism is. I'd like more of the same.
 
I felt like the press and FA would turn on Allardyce quicker than most England managers and fair to say this is not going to help. Should have just given it to Bruce.
 
Surely Rooney was the one who ordered this investigation. Probably confronted Big Sam this summer, hence BSA's mindfeck post match comments about his captain. I'm sticking to that theory.

Yip...... BUT, he's England manager.... employed by the FA?

There are probably people who can suggest dodgy things to make money from your bank but if I did it (as an employee) and got found out, I'd be sacked.
