dip pick is just like every other pick, if you pick gk in second round you can pick from the dip pool in third round.

Can someone explain this 'block round' please?
 
Thanks for the tags. The concept looks good, but I probably need to get a breather after the last draft. Happy to chip into it or a team in a half-arsed supporting role, like the early Directors of Football who spent most of their time on the golf course.

This is in no way intended as a criticism but can someone explain the logic behind the first round being a block round? I've never participated or followed one where it's started off like that.

The obvious GOATs have already been blocked. Then we leave it to the managers to take out a player they feel should not be in the drafts. Just making it more participative I suppose. You can use it to block another managers fave player and all that. Very friendly.

yeah, its a bit of a mistake from my part....first time running this so didnt really think about it when i was adding that to the rules. But everyone should be online today as United is playing so just PM me your blocks so we can start as soon as possible with the normal draft.

i think he is asking why is a block round a normal round and not just people throwing names in the thread when ever they are ready....
 
Think pnut is away for a while so I'll go through the block list as I'm on the phone and pick shortly guys

Was about to suggest just the same. Throw it open for managers to update the list as and when and not wait for the snake.

So if we are not following snake, do I still get the first pick? If so, can you invert the snake list to make it easier?

damage is done now we continue as it is but rather then people throwing names to the thread you all can send it via PM so we cut the waiting lines, i will be online for most of the day.

Would it not be the same thing if anyone picked now/whenevr they can? It's not like I'm going to block say Messi and then someone ahead of me in the queue is gonna come in and say "no I wanted to block Messi" when the outcome is the same no matter who does it. Picking position in this round ultimately makes no difference surely?
 
Ok, everyone can block when ever they are online, at the end this round will be seen as a regular round though so Edgar will have a first proper pick.

@Šjor Bepo think we should have the block list under the picks just for this round as you have to navigate through 2 tabs to see whether the player is blocked or not.
