T20 World Cup

Most of these Lankan bowlers could do with beefing up. Where's Fernando? now he's well built.

And they've just lost another wicket.

Why so, many, commas?

I think South Africa have good balance. If we play our best 11 in the proper order(without Dhoni coming up the order), I think we could win. You never know in T20.

Another! What a fecking catch, I love this guy's slower ball. He looks a class act

I have a thing about spazzing up with extra commas when I'm in a rush. I'm brilliant like that.

And I really do not want to see you and fellow Indian fans, happy. But I don't want SA to win either.

I think they're a decent bet. India, SA and Sri Lanka are the best three. England outsiders if KayPee isn't out of the tourno.

I think i'd agree with that. I'd like to see England get Napier in though as they need the big hitting to finish an innings. The top 3 are as good as anyone in current form and the attack looked good against Pakistan.

They did well against Pakistan. I thought Pakistan actually bowled quite well but were let down by their fielding and batting. I see no reason why they can't be as successful against the other big nations.

Johnson's at it again. He'd get into a lot of teams on batting merit.

I want them out as soon as possible.

Another gone.

I would have liked to see Napier aswell. I don't know why they didn't play Napier in any of the warm up matches, I doubt he will get a game now. I prefer Napier to Mascheranas. I can't remember the last time Mascheranas had a good game with the bat

Hope the Aussies win it. Dont want them to go out this soon.
Same. I think England would prefer playing the Aussies aswell, we have more chance beating Australia than beating Sri Lanka. We are shite against spin.

Dilshan needs to play a big game here. Class player.

Yep. He's a fantastic player.

Australia might've made a mistake picking Watson for the Ashes. He's not the same player he was. He's lost a lot of pace after his latest injury.

I don't really know too much about the Aussie team to be honest - but if they are dicked out of th etournament now how do you think it will affect confidence going into the Ashes?

Not much. Entirely different test team. Some of their players who aren't firing here(Ponting, Hussey, Clarke) are fantastic test players, just not cut out for T20. They have a few other very good test-only players to come in, as well -- Hughes, Katich, Siddle. Their only weakness is the lack of spin but their quicks are more than good enough for England's batting, IMO.

I think they'll be comfortable winners..

Demoralising, no doubt. It's not like one of those victories that will spur you up. It's demoralising because Australia know they are not as good as they once were. It's not "just a minor blip". It's a big problem.

With the whole Symonds fiasco adding fuel to the fire, I can see the Ashes going right down to the wire (again).

Wow, that's two extremely different responses, each with its own sense of surety.

lol, yes. I really do rate this Aussie test team.

Me too, of course. One cannot not rate any Aussie test team since 1985. But I do think a loss here will dampen their spirits tremendously.

That said, I don't think Australia will lose today!
