Has that air of maturity on the pitch that belies his age. Much like Mainoo in that regard and we need more players like that.
Great highlights reel. Looks very composed on the ball for his age, I don't think we'd get a better chance of signing him than now.

Hope it’s a Ronaldo type situation where we played Sporting in a friendly and then immediately signed him. Let’s hope it’s the same here.

Thought he was the best outfield player today. I'd like to see us sign him and loan back for a season. I'm sure he'd be very good value which are the type of long term signings I'd like to see.
He looked a very handy player today. Good feet and a really nice weight of pass.
He had 8 assists in the Norwegian league last season. Not a surprise that someone who already has that kind of experience and success in an adult league looks far more talented than almost all of the youngsters that played today. But it was still the case. Looks far more comfortable taking the ball while facing opponents trying to win the ball than our players other than Mainoo.

Thought exactly the same. Has great composure and decision making that you don’t normally see from a 17 year old. Reeks of a future top player.
I believe he can’t even join us until he is 18 anyway. Buying him now and with seeing out the Norwegian season (finishes in December) and joining us in January when he’s 18 makes a lot of sense.

Something along the lines of Sveh-rreh Nyh-pan. Us Norwegians roll our R's, and pronounce the E at the end of Sverre.

The first e in Sverre sounds similar to the æ in Solskjær. The y in Nypan sounds similar to the y in hymn. Add the rolling R's and the rest is pretty much pronounced as written.
Doubt he’ll move anytime soon. He gave an interview recently with united.no (Scandi supporters club) talking about how he wants to continue to develop at Rosenborg and doesn’t want to open that door to moving abroad just yet.
He also said he hasn’t heard anything from United yet so maybe if the club approaches him he’d be interested in a move with a loan back.
