I wish I had pmd someone that, seemed so obvious to me that he would complete that midfield perfectly. I had him in mind until I remembered he and Veron had actually played together at Chelsea.

Spectacular lineup, that. Ronaldo + Batistuta was a great 1-2 combo - not just in terms of exceptional quality, but the constricted pool of picks they block for footballers of their stature.

You shouldn't double pick before Gio, even if he can't pick him. You just make it easier for him: he now knows he doesn't need to worry about you next turn.

Fine margins, but I remember someone else I was really worried about once doing the same and I automatically knew which player to ride and which to pick.

I'd usually agree but with Gio having 2 picks and also waiting for the full set of players to pick twice it makes no difference really.

@Gio Prosinecki is an excellent pick, glad someone took him as others from that Red Star side just narrowly miss the cut (Piksi, Belodedici, Savicevic, Pancev, etc). Very elegant player.

:lol: FFS Gio, it's usually bad to have you immediately before because you always go for the same pick but it's still better than doing the same sat at opposite ends :mad:

I had passed on Prosinecki, flashier but not exactly what I wanted and got from the other guy. It was a very tough call though.

Laudrup's stint at Milan screwed me over :( It was actually part of that entire decision :hint:

Yeah same as Onenil it wasn't a key player as there are several that do the same job just someone I wanted due to how my team is shaping up but couldn't incorporate due to needing other positions that aren't as well stocked with quality.
