I played competitive 5aside and futsal for years, Makelele is ideal. Hard to get past, gives the ball to other more capable players right away. He'd be an absolute nightmare to play against in a small space.

I had an eye on him. Mostly because last weekend we watched some Gazzetta Italia mid-1990s goals compilation with a couple of beers and Beppe appeared to score every other goal on the video. The way Peter Brackley said 'Signori' or 'Vialli' got my juices flowing that's for sure.

25. Just got fond memories of Italian football on Channel 4 when I'd come home from footie training as a kid, in the days before we had Sky. Plus we'd play Juventus almost every year around 96-99, and United games on ITV on a Wednesday were the only times I'd get to see United live really, and Del Piero seemed like the greatest player in the world to me back then.
