Surprised we are allowing Mcnair to go rather than a loan.

Don't really know a lot about Donald Love, but despite Northern Irish and thinking he was a decent player, I didn't really think McNair had a long term future at United - still thought he would only get a loan this year though.

Wish them both well.

Don't mind either of these two going. Love in particular never looked good enough whilst with the defenders currently in the u21s mcnair was never going to make it.

McNair was never going to make it at United, hope we get a decent fee.

Next i hope we sell Blackett, Bastian and Adnan.

Don't think Paddy was going to make it as a regular first team player for us. I hope it goes well for him at Sunderland; no doubt there'll be few more heading out the door in the next couple of weeks.

When I saw Sunderland's name pop up I was hoping to see Fellaini's in the tweet, oh well, good move for McNair, I only saw Love a couple of times and he never stood out.

McNair's fee will likely cover most of the Pogba outlay.

I thought McNair would crack on after all his opportunities two years ago but it didnt work out.

All the best to both of them in Sutherland!

Yes! Great news. Neither of them would ever be good enough for us in my opinion, I just do not see it.

In saying that, good luck to them at Sunderland and I hope they do well.

Moyes doing the Leicester approach and buying United kids. Bit staggered that Donald Love is wanted by a PL team. Not good enough.

McNair was never going to be good enough for us. Mind you I'm not sure he's good enough for Sunderland either. But that's not my problem. Good luck to the pair of them.

They won't be missed. Moysie needs to take Phil Jones. Wonder if those two deal means Januzaj is off now.

Good luck to them. 2 more academy players who'd be playing in PL. Excellent job Mr. Joyce & Co.

I'm getting Love and Riley confused, which one looked half decent when they got a chance last season and which one looked shite?

It's going to make "rooting for Sunderland" to get relegated pretty tough now. You always want the United boys to do well.

They've got O'shea, Brown (not sure if either of them have retired - I think Brown has?), McNair and Love. Plus if there's anyone else I'm missing/or if they sign/take one or 2 more of ours loan.

A good move for McNair. He's 21 now and needs to push on with his career.

I'm surprised that Love is deemed good enough for this level. I'd have thought a Championship move for him.

Good for them. Didn't think either had any future here. McNair in particular could do very well at Sunderland imo. I could see him potentially getting a starting place in their midfield as a dm.

McNair wanted to move, right? Wasn't interested in going out on loan. I hope we can get at least £5m for him - Liverpool are getting £6m for Brad Smith.

McNair has some potential but I don't see why any premier league club would buy Love. I'm surprised Moyes hasn't tried for Januzaj tbh.

Nice. We couldve chucked in Blackett as well. Him and McNair have one more win at the Emirates than David Moyes has in his entire career.

Love looked crap when he got a chance last season and McNair is average at a push. Sunderland are having a nightmare window so far.
