Isco for £8m? Surely worth a punt.

I like Ocampos but I understand he wasn't too impressive the 2nd half of last season, lot to like in his potential...Good to see he wasn't tossed into the deep end of the European pool and can transition at a smaller club like Monaco, if true

Isco reportedly has a buy-out clause of €20M (15.7M GBP) in his contract. Their asking price might be north of 8M GBP being reported but still worth going in for IMO.

Cheers Gunnar!

I have to note though that is a particularly sorry looking shite, especially for a sunday before the start of a season.

Been a fairly uneventful summer so far imo. There have been a few deals done of course, but not half as many as i expected personally.

Nah, it'll be massive next Sunday as it'll be the last Sunday of a transfer window. City and Chelsea will be linked with all Premier League players.

Tiote or Cabaye are decent but not worth more than £10m

I'd be willing to go a bit over them 10 m mark if I had to in order to get Cabaye, but you're right Tiote isn't worth anything more than that. The job he does, he does it well, but just being a "destroyer" isn't enough these days (atleast not for Fergie)

Spot on about the valuation of both especially in the light of Song's £15m transfer to Barcelona but we don't need Cabaye and Tiote as you have said doesn't have enough to his game.
